Hi! I am Kristen, the Owner/Founder of Little Threads Children's Resale Shoppe in South Lyon, MI. We are so happy you're here! Our journey basically began in my infancy, (not joking,) but in an effort to keep this blurb to a minimum, and not bore you with all of the details of my life story, we'll summarize. 

I have LOVED all things fashion literally my entire life; some of my earliest and fondest memories involve clothing, shopping, and hosting make-believe fashion shows. So, it should be no surprise, I opted to earn my Bachelors Degree in Fashion Merchandising, and gained invaluable knowledge and experience while working for large retailers, such as, GAP and Nordstrom.

I always dreamt of my own store, and creating and selling my own designs, which led me to opening an ecommerce, Etsy shop, where I made and sold children's clothing. As much as I LOVED designing and creating, I really wanted a physical space, where kids and their families could have fun shopping together; a space full of community spirit, cool, on-trend pieces on the racks, that provided an exceptional shopping experience, AND that wouldn't break the bank. After many years of research, and LOTS of prayer, I realized the resale space was exactly where we were meant to be; it benefits buyers and sellers alike, allows us to carry a large variety of styles, brands and products, saves our customer's a TON of money, and contributes to a sustainable future for our beautiful planet. There are SO many benefits to shopping resale, and I really aspired to bring a retail experience that appealed to everyone, yes, even those who may not have been familiar with shopping resale in the past. We wanted to bring this concept to South Lyon, a community and area we love so much; community and giving-back is at the heart of our purpose, and where better to start, than where we call home.
